The Sumter County Sheriff's Office confirms to News 12 that it is investigating a possible connection between Rex Heuermann and the disappearance of a South Carolina woman. Julia Ann Bean was reported missing by her daughter in 2017. Bean's daughter says she remembers seeing her mother with a man who matches the description of Heuermann, according to investigators. The daughter also told investigators that the man was driving a truck that looked like Heuermann's green Chevy Avalanche that was seized from the suspected Gilgo Beach killer's South Carolina property in July.
