A New York man was locked up in a South Carolina jail Tuesday after more than 200 pounds of drugs were discovered in the vehicle he was driving during a traffic stop, according to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office. Zhiyong Che, a 30-year-old Flushing resident, was charged with trafficking in marijuana (100 pounds or more), the sheriff's office said in a news release. Che had 224 pounds of marijuana inside as many packages when he was pulled over early Tuesday morning on Interstate 95, according to the release.
